Even though it is quite laborious to prepare, tarhana, which we all love to eat at every meal, including breakfast, should never be missing from your kitchen for your children.
Mix one tea glass of cold water and two tablespoons of soup in a deep bowl and dissolve. Leave it for 15 minutes. Add 2 glasses of cold water or broth and 1 tea glass of boiled chickpeas. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until it starts to boil. Stop stirring after your soup starts to boil. It will be cooked in five minutes. Heat a cup of olive oil in a small skillet. Add 1 clove of minced garlic. When it turns pink, add 1 teaspoon of pepper paste and stir. When the tomato paste starts to click, take a ladle from your soup that is about to cook and add it on it. Let it boil for a minute or two. Add the sauce with tomato paste in the pan to the boiling soup pot and let it boil together for 1-2 more minutes. Ready to serve.

Note: If you prefer, you can also add 1-2 tablespoons of roasted minced meat to the soup during boiling.
